NSW WLRM Grants Summary – Organics Grants Now Open

The NSW EPA has released its third round of Organics Infrastructure funding under the $465.7 million NSW Government Waste Less Recycle More program (WLRM), in addition to the ongoing Organics Market Development Grants for product quality.

The new grants provide a one off opportunity to a range of eligible applicants within NSW, including local governments, businesses, industry and the community. The new grant rounds are summarised below.

Grant Streams Funding per Applicant Closing Date
Organics Infrastructure (large and small) 1. Food and garden organics processing $25k – $5m 1 December 2015
2. Business organics recycling $25k – $500k 1 December 2015
3. Food donation $25k – $500k 1 December 2015
4. Home composting $5k -$75k 1 December 2015
Organics Market Development Grants 1. Product quality $10k – $50k November 2016
